By purchasing an SMS credit pack, you are able to send an SMS message across either our 1-way or 2-way gateway.

Each gateway offers different features and different pricing depending on the destination of your SMS message.

• 1 SMS credit will allow you to send a single part SMS message to
destinations supporting single credit messages. This is the majority
of destinations. View our coverage page for specific details.

• 1-way messaging is ideally suited for the despatch of large bulk
broadcasts using the MobiSMS bulk module. This configuration
offers a lower per SMS message cost . . . making it ideal for
outbound marketing. This option will also allow you to include a
personalised Sender ID (up to 11 characters) as part of the
message header.

• 2-way messaging consumes 1.25 credits per single part message
to the majority of destinations. This allows you to send a message
and have the SMS reply automatically route to your e-mail Inbox
or be redirected to your mobile phone. Again view our coverage

SMS Gateway Settings

MobiSMS allows you to configure your preferred SMS gateway. This allows you to optimise your messages for coverage and cost. To change your SMS gateway, logon to your SMS Administration Page. If you have forgotten your account details, these were sent by e-mail to your SMS Administrator when we opened your account.

If you already have a corporate account with a wireless carrier, MobiSMS can be configured to route via this gateway. Understandably, this simplifies your existing billing arrangements. This approach requires consultation with our support team.


Purchasing SMS Credits

Quantities in 250, 500, 1k and 5k are available. These are available as MobiRecharge SMS Refill packs and are displayed in our online shop. For pack quantitites greater than these amounts, please email us for a quotation. Larger bulk quantitities attract further discounts and offer different payment methods.
